The Bumblebee Inspired Wind Turbine can be mounted vertically (as depicted above) or horizontally. The prototype is used for testing and optimizing various components of the system like the figure eight motion drive and wing airfoil designs.
Our goal is to develop systems for use in urban areas requiring back up power such as schools, emergency services & municipalities.
Here is one artist’s concept of a production model.

Wow, this new prototype design you’re coming out with is really interesting. I can’t wait to see the numbers on swept area and estimated power. Make sure that you let us all know how the testing turns out.
Plz show it animation how its work
thanks
A very interesting proposal, hope it is much more efficient then the models on the market today. If the sound levels are great for residential areas I will be willing to represent you locally in my country and sell a few of these xBee alphas.
Keep up the good work guys.
i must say its interesting form of wind mill now i,m interesting in finding out how efficient it is really and wat the cost of that system and how much wind is necessary for it to operate. im looking for some viable alternative to my power issues here in the caribbean.
